TRAIL RULES
COMPLETING THE TRAIL
• The trail is completed according to the timetables issued to teams during mandate.
• Arrival to the checkpoint can differ from the timetable +/- 5 minutes. Bigger deviation from timetable will result in additional penalty points or not being allowed to the task (depending on the task).
• Minimum preparation time for a task is 5 minutes.
If a team arrives to a checkpoint after the required minimum preparation time they will not be allowed to begin the task and they receive maximum penalty points for this task and additional 24 penalty points. If the team is late within the preparation time the instructor will decide if the team is capable of starting the task on time.
• If the team does not arrive to a checkpoint (skips it), they get maximum penalty points for this task and additional 48 penalty points.
MAILBOXES
• A mailbox is considered to be passed „clean“ i.e. with no penalty points if all team members have been through it.
• Each missing team member gives the team 12 penalty points.
• If a team member has already officially retired from the competition (umpires or competition HQ have been notified) then this person brings no additional penalty points.
OTHER ACTIVITIES
• There will be counteraction. CA is allowed to conduct their activities in the whole competition area except inside the checkpoint and 1km around it. Each captured team member brings 12 penalty points for the team.
• Additional penalties for incorrect weapon handling:
* Carrying the weapon in backpack or anywhere else where it is difficult to reach – 12 penalty points (for each weapon).
* Leaving the weapon unattended in the checkpoint while performing tasks – 48 penalty points (for each unattended weapon).
• For damaging, breaking or losing any equipment (safety harness etc) given to the competitor in checkpoint each damaged or lost item gives 24 penalty points.
